Human Behind
Hello! I'm Tania, self-taught artist and illustrator, the fairy behind this small business. I create magical worlds filled with little creatures and a touch of whimsy. All my art is hand-drawn digitally in Procreate on my iPad. I don't use AI and never will (you can check my socials for work in progress pieces and timelapse videos). What you see here is the result of years of practice, trial and error, and human intelligence. Art is beautiful because it is imperfect and has that human touch. There are no shortcuts, only practice and passion.
I've been an artist for as long as I can remember, always drawing/painting: pencil, charcoal, oil on canvas, and even on glass. Then, I took a long break.
Why digital? ✏️
I switched from traditional art to digital in a very stressful point in my life. I felt stuck, was dealing with burnout and health issues appeared. Something had to change so I turned to what always healed me: art. In 2022, I said: “It’s time to return to what makes you breathe.”
Only this time, I did things differently and bought myself a tablet for digital drawing. If I remember correctly it was XP-PEN Artist Pro tablet.
In 2023 I found the courage to share my creations with the world. It took lots of work, trial and error & baby steps for my small business to grow. At the end of 2023 - beginning of 2024 I began creating my products and then I opened my own website.
🌙 My art is the place where I feel most like myself. I'm an introvert, I’ve struggled with anxiety for a long time, and words don’t always come easily for me. But in my drawings... that’s where I can be vulnerable. That’s where I can say everything I feel.
📍 I live in Transylvania with my husband and our two cats. A part of me is still with my grandparents in the Apuseni Mountains where I first learned to love nature and to find magic in the little things. Slow living and old soul energy - that's me.
🧙♀️ I’ve always found inspiration in stories especially Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, those lands where good wins, children become heroes, and animals have souls and voices. (Yes, I said I want to be a hobbit!).
